Meet the Manager ForumSince 2003, IMR has organized the Meet the Manager Forums - unique, intimate investor-introduction events for hedge fund managers and qualified investors.Each event allows 6-8 hedge fund managers to present to an audience of qualified investors. Past investor participants have included high-net-worth investors, professional advisers, fund of funds, family offices, foundations, endowments and pension fund consultants. Over 80 managers have participated in IMR Meet the Manager events. The format of the Meet the Manager event serves to combine the most effective elements from popular cap-intro gatherings. The event generally runs from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and consists of three segments: Formal Presentations: Each manager delivers a short 10-12 minute introductory presentation covering the strategy, investment process and key differentiators. All presentations are recorded on digital video and placed on www.hedgeconnection.com for view by Hedge Connection's global investor membership. Roundtables: Each manager hosts a table and holds informal discussions with investors. Investors are encouraged to circulate among the tables spending time with each manager. Networking drinks: The event concludes with a networking cocktail hour.
